About Us


The Animal Clinic of Tomahawk was purchased by Dr. Julie and husband Chris Germano in February of 2012.  While under this new management, the clinic has added such things as a pet wellness program, new diagnostic machinery, and waiting room renovations.  We all look forward to continuing to serve Tomahawk and the surrounding communities for all their pet service needs!
Meet the Doctors and Staff!
Dr. Julie Germano, DVM
Dr. Germano grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Wisconsin.  After attending UW - River Falls studying pre-veterinary medicine, she moved to the Madison area to attend the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.  Following graduation in 2000, Dr. Julie moved back north to practice in Merrill, Wisconsin at a mixed animal practice.  After 10 years working in Merrill, she moved to the Tomahawk area and has been practicing at the current location ever since.  Dr. Julie and Chris have two sons, Zach and Connor, and a dog named Pebbles.

Kate Conley, Certified Veterinary Technician
After graduating Mukwonago High School, Kate moved to Colorado to earn her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and pursued a long career as a Emergency Critical Care Technician.  She married her husband Scott and has two children Grace and Jackson. Kate and her family moved back to Wisconsin in 2017 to be closer to family and have a small farm for her kids to enjoy. She has 2 dogs (Hatchet and Cheyenne), 3 cats (Snickers, Batman, and Robin), a tortoise (Shrek),  many chickens and 3 goats (Ava, Lucy, and Domino).

Lacey Kall, Certified Veterinary Assistant
After graduating from Tomahawk High School in 2005, Lacey moved to Eastern North Carolina to be with her husband who was serving in the United States Marine Corps. She attended Carteret Community College in Morehead City, North Carolina where she earned her certification in Veterinary Assisting. Lacey had five years experience working in a veterinary clinic prior to starting at Animal Clinic of Tomahawk in 2014. She has two dogs (Rhett and Dutch), as well as a cat named Rahlee.
